At Pine Lakes Animal Hospital, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our furry patients and exceptional service to their owners. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Veterinary Client Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets.

Job Description:

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of our hospital and team. You will greet clients, manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow for our medical team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a warm and welcoming manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide accurate information regarding services and pricing
• Maintain client records and update patient information in our system
• Process payments and handle billing inquiries
• Provide client education on basic pet care and upcoming appointments
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized front office area
• Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and scheduling
• Handle client concerns and complaints professionally and compassionately
• Support with filing and general office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners
• Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus, but not required
• Proficient with office software and phone systems
